Back story
I’m Thomas Brooks Jr. , Senior Designer at Javelin Factor Studio. I am the husband of one lovely lady and father of four crazy and gifted kids! We are a family of creators! We draw, we paint, we color, we compose, we design our world. Javelin Factor is my odd baby It was created with a few of my attributes in mind. Being an artist of both visual and audio media, I love art that goes somewhere, has direction, creations that have a purpose and things that mean something. I realized that I wasn’t alone. People generally are trying to get somewhere and sometimes they need the help of another to assist them on that journey. The clients I have partnered with have had a very good idea in mind and simply needed the help of someone else to make it a tangible product. These are the things I love about what I do. I get to journey with many different people and ideas and get to see them come to life!
Target Practice
I graduated college with a degree in Commercial Graphics, which gave me some useful tools for my trade. However design is not stagnant it is ever changing the tools are advancing and the trends of design are always in a fluid state. I have learned many indispensable things along the way from working as a designer for a vehicle wrap firm, designing for religious organizations, music artist and business owners. I worked almost the entire spectrum of genres in the design world.
This is why I continue training in the tools that I use. I am proficient in the Adobe Suite, with programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition, and Premiere Pro and plan to stay ahead of the curve in order to deliver my clients and future bosses the results that they deserve.
